I am pleased that you are interested in learning more about the faculty of engineering at Hashemite University. This Faculty is one of the fastest-growing campuses and one of the most diverse in terms of research. A unique aspect of our research is its tie with industry.

An excellent relationship has been established between industry and engineering in one of the most industrial populated zones of Jordan. This relationship demonstrates that the faculty of engineering is on the right track to participate in developing a competitive technology in the country.

Currently, there are eight programs offering strong vibrant Bachelor of Science in Engineering:

· Civil engineering,
· Computer engineering,
· Mechanical engineering,
· Industrial engineering,
· Electrical engineering,
· Mechatronics engineering,
· Biomedical engineering, and
· Architectural engineering.

The Faculty is in the process to obtain the NAAP accreditation for the Architecture Engineering program. Our programs are up-to-date and challenging. As an engineering faculty, we continually strive to provide an outstanding education to students through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and industry experience. The Faculty of Engineering is well-positioned and committed to training first-class professionals who are equipped with skills and philosophy to provide the 21st century engineering leadership.

Our future plans:
- Attracting and developing an outstanding and diverse faculty members, student body, and staff.
- Advancing the quality of the undergraduate educational experience with increased active learning and faculty/student interaction, focusing on the integration of design, communications, computation, and the contextual understanding of engineering.
- Developing graduate programs to support industrial development.
- Advancing an active research program.
- Introducing new engineering disciplines vital to the development of the emerging industry in Jordan.
- Offering technical training and consultancy to the local community.
