The Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Hashemite University was founded in 1995. Since its establishment, it has set a clear vision: Representing a model in integration of teaching and learning, progress in knowledge through research and culture, leadership in delivering knowledge and educational services, pioneering in preparing innovators to provide society with educational services, improvement of the lives of individuals and adapting them to a changing global society, excelling in teaching and learning and research and scientific studies, improving academic and administrative environment and building effective partnerships with local community institutions.
The Faculty of Educational Sciences today consists of four academic departments: (Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Department of Educational Psychology and Psychological Counseling, Department of Educational Foundations and Administration, and Department of Art Education). It awards a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, in addition to a higher diploma certificate. It offers (7) master's programs, (3) bachelor's programs, a higher diploma program in school management, in addition to a higher diploma program in preparation of pre-service teachers in its various streams. The growth and development of the programs have been accompanied by a significant increase in the number and quality of faculty members who represent elite in science, knowledge and education, and serve and prepare generations, the country and humanity in various educational disciplines.
