About Us

The Hashemite University Health Center is a health center located on the campus of Hashemite University in Jordan. It provides healthcare services to students, faculty members, and registered staff of the university.

The health center consists of a specialized team including a specialist doctor/center director, a specialist doctor, two general practitioners, eight nurses, a pharmacist, and a pharmacy assistant. It has a fully equipped laboratory with all the necessary devices and a laboratory technician. There is also an X-ray room supervised by a radiology technician. The center includes an emergency room equipped with various medical equipment, supplies, beds, and an ambulance. The pharmacy at the center is stocked with various medications, and there is a storage room for medical supplies. All employees and students at the university have comprehensive health insurance coverage through agreements with university hospitals, Ministry of Health hospitals and centers, and private hospitals. This coverage extends to all areas of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

 It offers a variety of services, including:

1. General consultations: Patients are received at the center for general health consultations, simple diagnoses, and referrals to medical specialties as needed.

2. Medical treatment: Initial treatment is provided for emergency cases, and complex cases are managed with specialized doctors and nurses.

3. Medical consultations: Medical consultations are provided to students, faculty members, and staff in various healthcare fields, including general health advice and nutritional guidance.

4. Medical examinations: Some basic medical examinations are provided, such as blood pressure check, diabetes screening, vision testing, and others.
