Under the patronage of Dr. Yaseen Al-Husban, Chairman of the Health, Environment, and Population Committee in the Senate and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hashemite University, the Medical Education Conference commenced at the Hashemite University on April 30, 2024. The conference included the opening session of the Faculty of Medicine at the Hashemite University, titled "Medical Education: Reality and Future."
During the conference, Dr. Randa Mahasneh provided a detailed explanation of the project aimed at building the capacities of trainers and supporting clinical expertise for students. This project is funded by the European Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and several medical schools in Jordanian universities. In her explanation of the project's objectives, Dr. Mahasneh emphasized that the project aims to develop the professional and educational skills of clinical trainers and qualify them to supervise medical students during their clinical training years in hospitals.
