On April 16, 2024, the president of Mutah University, Dr. Salamah Al-Naimat inaugurated the activities of the "First Scientific Day for Student Research" at the Faculty of Medicine. During the opening, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Fadi Suwaid, emphasized the importance of student research as a logical outcome of their intellectual efforts and perseverance in scientific research, praising their achievements reflecting long hours of dedication.

A lecture was presented during the event about the educational program project aimed at building trainers' capacities and supporting clinical experiences for students, funded by the European Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and several medical faculties in Jordanian universities.
Dr. Bilal Al-Zu'bi, a faculty member, outlined the objectives of the project, which aims to develop professionalism and enhance educational skills for teachers, preparing over 95 doctors and 120 teachers to supervise medical students during their training period.
He noted that the project continues until 2026, with the participation of several universities and the Ministry of Health. The ceremony was attended by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, deans of faculties, faculty members, and students at the college.
