The Department of General and Special Surgery was established in 2009, it is the largest department in the Faculty of Medicine. The department provides teaching for students in clinical years at the Faculty of Medicine beside participating in teaching of residents at Prince Hamzah Hospital. Besides, Faculty staff provide clinical services in surgical fields at prince Hamzah Hospital
