Professor Khaled Al-Hyari, President of the Hashemite University, patronized the Third Scientific Day of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, held under the title “Pharmacy Between Professional Development and Safe Practice.” The event brought together experts, academics, and specialists from health, regulatory, and pharmaceutical sectors.
In his remarks, Professor Al-Hyari emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and keeping pace with recent transformations in the pharmacy profession, highlighting the University’s role in preparing qualified graduates capable of contributing to healthcare development and community service.
Professor Manar Al-Lawama, Secretary General of the Jordan Medical Council, discussed the Council’s role in advancing professional licensure and clinical pharmacy residency programs, while linking pharmacy practice to lifelong learning and professional competencies.
Professor Suja Hamed, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to preparing professionally competent graduates through quality education, practical training, and partnerships with various sectors.
The Scientific Day included specialized sessions on professional and regulatory issues in pharmacy and healthcare, in addition to a student projects exhibition, a medication education competition, and the honoring of participants, supporters, and training partners.
