General Goals
- Graduate qualified professionals in maternity and midwifery care also in pediatric and neonatal care.
- Provide students with basic knowledge and skills to provide adequate care for women throughout the stages of pregnancy.
- Provide students with basic nursing interventions for pregnant women in variety of clinical settings.
- Provide students with basic knowledge and skills to provide adequate care for neonate and children.
- Provide students with principles of dealing with different clinical problems experienced by women, children, and neonates.  
- Introduce community services through the application of professional health education to women and targeted population, especially in maternal child health centers to meet the unique need of this population group.
