The department of biology and biotechnology contains several teaching laboratories for general biology, microbiology, botany, zoology, biochemistry, DNA technology and applied biotechnology.
- The research laboratories are equipped with the following tools and equipment:
- Automated tissue processor.
- Fluorescent inverted microscope.
- Biosafety cabinets class II.
- Plate readers (ELISA Reader).
- Liquid nitrogen generator.
- Thermal cyclers for conventional PCR and Real Time PCR.
- Flow cytometer.
