The following research projects are currently undertaken by the department members:
1. Prevalence and Genotype Distribution of Human Papillomavirus, Jordan.

2. HPV association with Head and Neck Cancer in Jordanian patients.

3. Child abuse and Neglect: knowledge and attitudes of undergraduate students in Jordan.

4. To assess and compare the knowledge, attitude and clinical skills of primary health care providers in 
     Jordan towards domestic violence.

5. Establishing cell free extract from gram negative and gram positive bacteria capable of biodegrading
     clorobenzoic.

6. Prevalence and mechanisms of resistance to fusidic acid and glycopeptides among clinical isolates of 
     coagulase negative Staphylococci in Jordan.

7. Incidence, characterization and novel treatments of multi-drug resistance Staphylococcus aureus 
     infection at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Jordan.

8. Frequency and association of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) with prostate cancer in Jordan.
