Aims and Learning outcomes
The Master's Program in Curriculum and Instruction aims to:

1. The graduate possesses basic knowledge and cognitive and professional skills related to teaching and learning and contributes to their development.
2. The graduate acquires and is capable of scientific research skills in curricula and teaching methods.
3. The graduate is committed to the ethics of scientific research in his research efforts in the field of curricula and teaching methods

By the end of the programme, each graduate will be able to:
1- The field of knowledge.
1-1 explains the problems and issues related to the content of the curricula, And its relationship to professional practice in schools.
1-2 Explains curricula theories, types, most important models, and practices for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing curricula in the educational stage in which he works.
1-3 Describes the nature of educational research, its types, how to apply it in teaching curricula and methods, and how to analyze research and critique previous studies and its recommendations in planning, implementation, evaluation, and development.
1-4 Get acquainted with the standards of modern international and local school curricula and the various opportunities for teacher professional development.
1-5 Recognize the outlines of curricula in education in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation, and development.
1-7 identifies classifications of teaching methods, strategies, methods and approaches, and the basis for the success of each.
1-8 Acquire scientific research skills in curricula and teaching methods.

2- Domain of cognitive skills.
2-1 He applies curriculum theory and educational theory continuously in his study of the reality of curricula, methods of teaching them, requirements for evaluation and overcoming obstacles to their development.
2-2 It presents practical presentations of original and innovative research in curricula and teaching methods, and conscious and convincing judgments related to the problems and issues of teaching and learning, and curricula evaluation in general education.
2-3 He extracts from the published research, after analyzing it, ideas, and procedures that he can apply to develop curricula and teaching methods in general education, and to improve teaching methods and strategies.
2-4 Apply educational research methods in preparing research plans related to the creative analysis of curricular issues (planning, implementation, evaluation, and development), methods and strategies for teaching and discussing them in order to reach results and suggestions that can be applied in education.
2-5 He uses his knowledge and research skills to write a research plan for a problem or issue related to teaching curricula, methods, and strategies, committed to the ethics of scientific research.
2-6 Designs a clear framework for curriculum engineering from planning, implementation, evaluation, and development in light of contemporary theories, and acquires the necessary teaching competencies for the teacher.
2-7 Develops his abilities related to teaching strategies, chooses the most appropriate ones in teaching, and uses software in teaching and learning.
2-8 It uses global and local professional standards for teachers in developing its teaching performance and developing the content of books in general education stages.
2-9 Apply the appropriate statistical method and use it in analyzing data, summarizing, and interpreting results, and making decisions.

3-The field of dealing with others and taking responsibility.
3-1 He independently searches for new knowledge and the necessary skills he needs to study a problem or issue related to curricula and teaching methods.
3-2 Writes reports in cooperation with colleagues, discusses with other students, benefits from their experiences, and accepts their opinions.
3-3 He creates solutions to the problems encountered during teaching and assumes the responsibility of successfully managing the educational process in the classroom.

4-The domain of communication skills, information technology, and numerical skills.
4-1 Communicates effectively and at the appropriate level with professional officials, educational researchers and specialists in curricula and teaching methods, in situations of collecting information and applying research tools.
4-2 Communicates with colleagues, whether through teamwork, through discussions, or through small group work.
3-4 Enters the global databases and conducts the specialized research process in the field of specialization.
4-4 Uses technology and computers in teaching and learning and in data analysis, while adhering to scientific integrity.

5- Presenting findings, recommendations, and reports in the field of psychomotor skills.
5-1 Produces a report on his project or research, accurately describing the problem in the curricula, its teaching methods, its theoretical framework and field procedures, its study tools, application, results, recommendations, and references, with a summary of that in both Arabic and English, technology employees in all of this.
