The Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy was established on the basis of the current needs of physical and occupational therapists who are qualified and highly educated to be members of the Jordanian health society. Currently more than 500 physical and occupational therapists have graduated with Bachelor’s degrees from the department and they serve as therapists in Jordan and abroad. The vision of the department has always been creating a healthy educational and academic atmosphere for students where they can grow and become successful healthcare providers. This vision has always been implemented by ensuring the presence of excellent faculty members and lab instructors, making continuous updates to our curricula, creating new agreements with hospitals and health organizations throughout Jordan and abroad, and by engaging students in the academic process.
