Currently the department of mechanical engineering houses ten laboratory rooms offering a wide range of practical experiments aimed at implementing the various mechanical principles taught to students through their Bachelor degree studies, in addition to a designated computer room used to teach students courses requiring specialized software. 
Practical experiments taught to students are given within the following courses:
 

1. Strength of materials Lab.
2. Thermal 1 Lab.
3. Thermal 2 Lab.
4. Fluid Lab.
5. Vibration and Control Lab.
6. Mechanical Drawing, as well as a specialized course given to students about 3D modeling for mechanical parts and assemblies.
