The department has always been keen to build bridges of cooperation with the local community, believing in the university's mission of serving the local community, its institutions, and its members. This is achieved through holding training courses, providing scientific consultations, and organizing scientific and medical days in which a large number of the department's faculty, administrative staff, and students participate. Within this framework, the following events were recently held:

* Blood donation campaign in collaboration with Zarqa Government Hospital.

* The scientific day for cancer awareness on 21/5/2025 under the patronage of the university president, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Hiyari

* The free medical day conducted under the supervision of the College of Applied Medical Sciences with its various departments and in collaboration with the Al-Zarqa Ladies Association for Special Education on 24/8/2025.

* The Department of Medical Sciences contributes to educating the local community by involving university students in educational workshops, which in turn benefits the local community.
