In 2011, Civil Engineering BSc Program in the Engineering Faculty got the approval for the special accreditation by the Higher Ministry of Jordan. The new plan became 160 credit hours to provide a balance between the theoretical and experimental courses. The Civil Engineering BSc Program is nowadays in a process for getting the ABET accreditation and the quality assurance certificate.
