The Department of Internal Medicine is one of the most important clinical departments in the Faculty of Medicine, which is concerned with supervising medical students in the clinical stages of the Bachelor of Medicine program through the academic courses prescribed within the study plan for medical students to obtain a Doctor of Medicine degree and postgraduate students within the higher specialization program in internal medicine. The department includes the best faculty members in the specialization of general internal medicine, dermatology, neurology and psychiatry, with a number of twelve members to date. Based on the importance of the courses we offer and the fact that internal medicine is the basis of medical teaching, we always strive to provide the department with more academic expertise and are committed to the continuity of developing visions and strategies and seek to develop innovations in biomedical research and always aspire to a leading position in medical education and training in Jordan.
