This course provides information regarding biochemical process that occurs within the biological community in the soil. Students are introduced to related topics such as biomass and soil enzyme activity. The course links the concept of biological systems in the soil including plants animals and microbes with their ecological habitat and their relationships as well as their role in nutrient cycling and how biological processes in the soil are linked to physical and chemical processes. |
