This course will provide students with Introduction to semiconductor physics and solar cells operation, describe the technologies and manufacturing processes of different types of Solar cells and electrical characteristics, understand the fundamentals and the importance of Photovoltaic system, educate the Analyze/Design Off-grid and On-grid PV systems and the pay-back period calculations using many software tools, knowledge on laws, codes and standards associated with PV energy systems, Case Study project. |
