This course reviews the basic concepts of computer security. Lectures cover threat modeling
and risk assessment, systems and protocols vulnerabilities, attacks on systems and protocols,
defense and protection techniques (e.g. IDS and IPS), design of secure systems and security
protocols (e.g. IPSec), penetration testing techniques and hardware security. Lectures also
cover topics like cyber-physical security and discussion of the most recent high-impact cyber-
attacks. |
