Course Discription
:
Construction of digital circuits such as diode-transistor circuits, transistor–transistor logic (TTL) circuits, coupled-emitter circuits, negative metal–oxide–semiconductor (NMOS) circuits, and complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) circuits. Measurement of the number of gates that can be connected at the outputs, the number of inputs for some gates, voltage transfer characteristics, and power dissipation for the circuits mentioned above. Study and construction of digital-to-analog converters (DACs), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), multivibrator circuits, read-only memory (ROM), and random-access memory (RAM) circuits. Some of these circuits will also be implemented using software tools such as Multisim and PSpice.
