This course focuses on the stages and the fundamentals of effective construction and financial project management theories, terms, and concepts from initiation, selecting consultants and assembling teams, identifying work plans, planning and scheduling, execution, supervision, monitoring, handling over, and closing. Additionally, it aims to equip the students with usable competencies in construction finance domains and understand the fundamentals of building costs, which include project financing methods and feasibility, construction cost estimating, risk management, profitability, construction scheduling, cost, analysis, budget planning, controlling, operational costs, and life-cycle costs. |
