This course gives students essential information on the formulation and production of pharmaceutical dosage forms. The covered topics include taste masking approaches, formulation and manufacture of effervescent preparations, formulation and production of different dosage forms for specific types of active ingredients including peptides and proteins, plant medicines and poorly soluble drugs. The course also addresses the formulation strategies of generic oral drug products. |
