Course Discription : Soil sciences and their major branches, influence of the environment on soil formation; local, regional and global scales of soil formation, physical, chemical and mineralogical properties of soil. It shows the importance of soil as a medium of waste disposal and plant growth, and tackles the chemical forms of macro- and micronutrients, the role of organic matters and microorganisms in soil.
