Course Discription

Providing students with a solid foundation in analytical methods used in biomechanics such as statics, dynamics, elasticity, and vector analysis. It also covers basics of mechanics (deformations, stress, and strain). Application of mechanics to biological structures (biomechanics) is presented, including equilibrium and motion dynamics in biological systems, and functions of bones, muscles, skin, tendons, and ligaments.
