*Facing environmental challenges has become an important unifier among scholars and decision makers because of their health impacts on the mankind. Therefore this course aims at introducing students to various environmental problems, their negative impacts, and affective preventive and mitigation measures including environmental regulations, signing regional and international environmental treaties and protocols that lead to sustainable use of natural resources particularly in energy and metallurgy sectors. |
