         The College of Dentistry at the Hashemite University and the Pioneer Center for Applied and Academic Research at the university organized a special workshop for a group of faculty members in health colleges on the scientific basics of managing communication with students. The workshop topics included: methods of communication and responsibility, development equations, the learning curve, the difficulty factor, the discrimination factor, and the readability standard for exams.

        The Vice President of the University, Professor Dr. Khaled Abu Al-Tin, said that interacting with students and developing teaching and communication is a vital issue in university education. Therefore, the Hashemite University is keen to enhance the skills of faculty members and provide them with the necessary skills to enrich the educational process inside the lecture classroom. 

       The Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ziad Al-Duwairi, stated that the newly established college seeks to focus on contemporary teaching methods in an ideal educational environment in order to achieve the college’s mission of graduating dentists with the highest educational and training standards in health care and services.

         The training workshop was presented by Dr. Muhannad Odeh, Director of the Pioneering Center for Applied Research, who pointed out that continuous development is one of the elements of improving academic work, which includes the specialized side, personal skills, developing leadership and communication competencies, paying attention to keeping up with communication models, evaluating the inputs and outputs of education and communication tools with students, in addition to leading the interactive educational process as to achieve the intended goals.
