The Hashemite University and Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding to develop digital skills among students and graduates. This memorandum comes within the academic cooperation program between the Ministry of Digital Economy, the Ministry of Higher Education and Huawei. The memorandum was signed by the President of Hashemite University, Vice President for Humanities Affairs, Prof. Wasfi Rawabdeh, with the presence of the Minister of Digital Economy and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education, and the Dean Deputy of Student Affairs, Dr. Firas Al-Asali.

  Prof. Rawabdeh said that under the terms of the memorandum, the company will provide free training programs and international certificates for faculty members and students with the aim of developing digital and technological skills among students and graduates in a manner that is consistent with the needs of the modern labor market.

    Dr. Al-Asali said that the Deanship of Student Affairs has started special tracks that enhance the digital and technological skills of students and graduates, artificial intelligence and its applications in various specializations and from the faculties of information technology, engineering and science, including the memorandum of understanding that was signed with Huawei.
