   The Faculty of Nursing at Hashemite University has obtained prestigious international accreditation from the American Commission for The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), which is one of the most prestigious and important international accreditations for nursing education. The Commission subjects nursing programs to a strict evaluation process to ensure that they meet academic quality standards in providing high-quality nursing education that meets the needs of labor markets for skills and competencies.

  The President of the Hashemite University, Professor Khaled Hesham Hyari, said that obtaining this prestigious accreditation confirms the quality of nursing education at the university, enhances its position as a leading educational institution at the local and global levels, and contributes to improving the health care provided to patients. He pointed out that international accreditation is one of the important indicators of the level of education at the university and its reputation in academic domains, indicating that there are (13) academic programs at the university that are internationally accredited, in addition to this there are a number of programs that have come a long way in the procedures for obtaining accreditations, which will be reflected on the university ranking globally.

   The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Professor Jamila Abu-Idhail, stated that the Bachelor program of Nursing has achieved remarkable excellence in various accreditation standards of the ACEN, which include the provision of administrative capabilities and resources, competencies from the academic and administrative staff, the level of students, the study plan, and the quality of learning outcomes. She stressed that international accreditation provides graduates with greater job opportunities, better chances of acceptance into graduate programs at international universities, and other advantages. It can also enable the faculty to continue developing and modernizing.

  The Dean of the faculty extended her thanks to the President of the University, the Vice President of the University for Scientific Faculties Affairs, the Vice President of the University for Quality Affairs and International Communication, the Deanship of Academic Development, and to the faculty staff from the academic and administrative members for their great efforts in achieving this academic accomplishment.
