The Hashemite University presents to the nation a “batch of hope” for the thirteenth Cohort of graduates of the Faculty of Human Medicine.

Al-Hyari addressing  the graduates: You carry a sacred human message, of which you are the custodians, and medical sciences are endless and fathomless.

 

   The President of the Hashemite University, Professor Khaled Hesham Hyari, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the thirteenth Cohort named “Batch of Hope” students from the University’s Faculty of Human Medicine. The graduation ceremony, which was held today, Monday, 6/24/2024, was attended by the head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office, Professor Dr. Hammoud Al-Qashaan, and a number excellencies, the Vice Presidents of the University, the Dean of Student Affairs, the faculty members of the faculty of Medicine, and the students’ families and relatives.

    The university president delivered a speech at the ceremony in which he welcomed the attendees and said: “At the Hashemite University, this bright scientific edifice among the nation’s most honorable edifices, in our beloved kingdom, and under our wise Hashemite leadership, we have always followed in the footsteps and path of the king of the country, His Majesty King Abdullah II, son of Al-Hussein the Great, we are proceeding with him on the paths of goodness, renaissance and achievement, proud of the good reputation that the Hashemite University has achieved as a distinguished position among its counterpart universities locally and internationally.

    He added: “How wonderful it is that this ceremony of ours coincides with our national celebrations on the occasion of the silver jubilee of His Majesty, the King’s assumption of his constitutional powers. We, at the Hashemite University, pledge to God Almighty, and renew our pledge and promise to the leader of the nation to continue  this bright march inspired by His Majesty's vision, and guided by His wisdom.” May achievements flourish, ambitions rise, and inspirations soar, so that Jordan remains strong and steadfast.”

    The University’s president praised the achievement of the college of medicine for its distinguished achievement of getting the rank of (701-720) for the major of doctor of medicine in the list of the best colleges of medicine globally according to QS classification, which gives an indication of the ability and the efficiency of its outcomes, academic staff, equipment and teaching methods.

      He expressed his glory and pride of the graduates who prove their endless commitment, dedication and passion. They worked hard day and night, burdened difficulties, exerted huge efforts, dedicated themselves to the hard work until they got their academic and professional degrees, which in turn will accomplish their desires and dreams of a bright future for themselves, and their careers, and nation.

      Prof. Al-Hyari congratulated the parents of the graduates , thanking them for their efforts and sacrifices since they are the ones who should be happy the most;  this happiness which began since their kids’ hearts pulsed for the first second of their lives, filling the hearts of their families with joy. He told them: “ it’s the day to see your faces smiling and the happiness fills your chests, and how it could not be, since the dream has become true and it’s the time to reap the fruits. You are looking to the most precious thing you have in your life, your sons and daughters have been crowned by knowledge and became doctors.”

    The number of the graduates of the thirteen cohort has reached 352 graduates males and females, including some graduates from other neighboring countries from: Kuwait, Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and Yemen. It is worthy to mention that the total number of the college graduates since the graduation of the first class on 4/6/2012 until the current class is 2845 graduates males and females.
